A trade body for the UK and Irish tabletop games industry
Big Table is a new organisation set up to help all areas and all levels of the tabletop industry, from publishers and manufacturers to distributors and retailers, games cafes, event organisers and more. We aim to provide:
- Better communication
- Accurate industry information (metrics, demographics, sales figures)
- Job advertisements
- Member directories
- Online seminars, skills training and best practices
- Industry events
- Much more
Big Table is in pre-launch preparations and will go live in early 2025. To be kept informed, please join our mailing list.
Membership
Membership will be open to any business or organisation working in tabletop games in Britain and Ireland.
Big Table will be a non-profit company controlled by a board comprised of senior industry figures, half of them elected by the members.

We’ll be hosting a Q&A at Dragonmeet!
Big Table will be hosting a seminar at Dragonmeet this November 30th! Come see us, find out all about Big Table, and have your say about what you need from a tabletop industry body.
We’ll be on stage at Alsace: Track 2 at 17:00.

Chess tournament to air in 2025
Chess is set to hit our TV screens again in the form of an eight episode knockout tournament on BBC2. Hosted by Sue Perkins, the series will pit 12 contestants against each other and is set to air in 2025.
We can expect an uptick in interest in everything chess related!
